So we see him in another acting venture, to be directed by older sister Zoya.

Are you into full time acting now?
I have done three films as an actor (including The Fakir Of Venice). This is my second film (to be released). Yes, nowadays since I am only acting in films you can say I am full time into it. Do I plan on not directing or writing further? That is something to be decided in the future.
Why did you decide to act in Luck By Chance? What motivated you to take the role?
I have always liked this script very much. Initially I wasn't even thinking about acting in it. Ritesh (Sidhwani, who worked with him on Dil Chahta Hai, Lakshya and Don) and I were producing the film. We were approaching other actors on doing roles (in the film). But somehow -- as the title suggests... Luck By Chance -- it was not happening with any of the other actors for various different reasons.
It is a film that Excel Entertainment has wanted to produce for the last six to seven years. Zoya has been waiting to direct it. I did a film called The Fakir of Venice, made by a friend of ours, Anand Surapur. Zoya watched that film and really liked it. She subsequently spoke to me about doing a film together with her directing and me acting. I told her in that case let the film be Luck By Chance because it is a really nice script and I liked that character (that I play) very much.
