Director Danny Boyle later met up with the media to introduce its Oscar nominated crew, who were present at the function like Resul Pookutty (sound design) and Chris Dickens (film editing).

But everyone present missed A R Rahman, who bagged three Oscar nominations for Best Original Score and Best Song for Jai Ho and O Saaya.
