It's been quite some time since we last saw Dino Morea. So it is not surprising that the dimpled-cheeked actor is quite charged up about his latest film Acid Factory.
Directed by Suparn Verma, the film is produced by White Feather Films and also stars Manoj Bajpai, Aftab Shivdasani, Fardeen Khan, Irrfan Khan, Danny Denzongpa and Dia Mirza.
Nithya Ramani chatted with the actor to know more about the film. Excerpts:
Where have you been? We haven't seen much of you except for some glimpses in Heroes and Karzzzz.
I have been around. I did another film called Brahm. I did Karzzzz as a favour to (T-Series head honcho) Bhushan Kumar, as he is a close friend. I will do another film with him. I did Heroes because I loved the story. I really wanted to work with its Sameer Karnik, and since it was an ensemble cast, there wasn't much for one actor anyway.
It's been a conscious decision to be choosy. I'd rather do a film that is marketted well, so that many people can watch it. Sometimes I have done films that I think were brilliant but the marketting was so bad that nobody watched them. So I'd rather do a guest appearance in a Shah Rukh Khan film and have millions of people watch it and compliment you, than do a feature film that nobody watches.
My next film is Acid Factory (produced by Sanjay Gupta). I am in talks with two other banners also.
