'Slumdog brings love to people'
So how did Rahman celebrate his birthday? The music composer replied that he, in fact, did not celebrate because of the ongoing mourning month of Muharram.
"I feel music plays a great bridge among people," he said. "You see so much hatred on the Internet and around the world. Music is all about love and compassion. Slumdog is a perfect example of bridging that gap and bringing love to people."
