Here's a look at the Ten Best Directors of 2008 in no particular order:
Abbas Tyrewala, Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na
Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na is an extension of Abbas Tyrewala's sharp yet chilled out, Xavier's-bred personality. Like his previously-written material, for his debut as a director too, he makes the proceedings interesting with crisp humour, relatable dialogue and approachable characters.
He makes Aditi and Jai as real as can be. The man gives us a wholesome happy film, wonderful new talent, overlooked old talent, superb soundtrack, with no dull moments whatsoever.
