Saathiya - Accident scene
Rani Mukerji and Vivek Oberoi did very well in Shaad Ali's Saathiya, playing a prematurely-wed couple going through much new-life angst following their initial stab at romanticism and freedom.
Just when a huge misunderstanding threatens to tear up the couple and one hopes they can collide and talk about things, Rani, crossing the road, is suddenly mowed down by a car driven by Tabu. The shot comes very, very abruptly. The director leaves you with no warning, and the impact it leaves is jawdropping.
