Vishnuvardhan returns with Nam Yajamaanaru

With Nine National awards and scores of state awards in his kitty, director T S Nagabharana is perhaps one of the those directors in the Kannada film industry who makes viable commercial yet artistic films.

The director of blockbusters like Janumada Jodi and Nagamandala has just completed directing Nam Yejamaanaru starring Dr Vishnuvardhan, Navya Nair and others. The film is set to release on Friday.

Nagabharana is the only Indian director to have won three National Awards for National Integration (Grahana in 1978, Santa Shishunala Sharifa in 1990 and Kallarali Hoovaagi in 2006).

He spoke to R G Vijayasarathy more about the movie. Excerpts:
