Slumdog Millionaire? What is that?" asked Babu Shetty, a resident of Dharavi, Asia's largest slum, when I asked him if he had heard of the Oscar-nominated film.
I answer that it is an award-winning film, featuring the slums of Mumbai.
"Who is the hero of the film?" he shot back.
I tell him that the film features Anil Kapoor and Irrfan Khan, among others.
He thinks hard before replying that he has no idea, and then rushes off to work.
