Thakazhi's grandson turns filmmaker
Raj Nair, grandson of Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai, India's highest literary award winning writer (Jnanpith), is venturing into the world of films.
He is coming out with his maiden feature film in Malayalam titled Punyam Aham, with Prithviraj and Samvritha Sunil in the lead roles.
Earlier, Raj made a documentary titled Kazhchavasthukkal (the Exhibits) on the loneliness experienced by his grandmother, after the writer's home was made into a museum.
