Jayaram is back with a bang

Jayaram has been the quintessential nice man in Malayalam films, considering the nature of characters he has enacted on screen. But things haven't exactly been nice for him when most of his films bombed at the box office.

That was until Veruthe Oru Bharya. The spectacular show of the film at the box office effectively resurrected his fortunes.

Now he has two successive releases this summer -- Bipin Prabhakar's Samastakeralam P O (already released) and the most eagerly awaited Sathyan Anthikkad's film, Bhagyadevatha. Whenever Jayaram and Sathyan Anthikkad came together, there were fireworks at the BO.

This Friday, we will come to know whether the duo's magic works this time too.

Here is an excerpt from an exclusive chat with the star.

Two releases this summer. Things are happening very well for you...

[Smiles] I hope so. After Veruthe Oru Bharya got tremendous acceptance, I have been a bit more careful in picking the offers that came my way. Both Samastakeralam P O and Bhagyadevatha have genuine storylines that will hopefully find acceptance from the audiences.
