Background: Samyukta is studying journalism, and has just given her first year examinations. "I am lucky that IPL is happening during my vacation, and won't hamper my studies," she says. "I was passionate about dancing since childhood but never had any formal dance training."

Her SRK experience: When I was young, I would watch SRK on television and think what a nice person he is. Fortunately, when I met him at his home, the image did not change. I discovered that he was even better. SRK is humble and down-to-earth. He was very encouraging. We were bowled over by his words.

Memorable moments on the show: Deepika Padukone told me on the show that she had a soft corner for me because I was from her college and hometown. I was Sourav's favoutite cheerleader and that's the biggest compliment.

It's been a fantastic journey. Cheerleading is not simple as people think. We have to have the right kind of attitude and energy.

Dancing to fame: I adore Shaimak Davar as a dancer. We were excited and nervous when we heard that he would be present at the semis and grand finale.

Fitness regime: We would wake up at 6.30 am and head to the gym. Then we would have breakfast, and go for rehearsals. But there was no diet plan for me.

We were given energy drinks during the shoot because we had to wait for long hours and cheer the other participants.

Future plans: I want to become a journalist.
