We've never really had that many celebrity cameos in our cinema. But as India begins to elbow into international cinematic centrestage, things are slated to change.
This summer we see Sylvester Stallone and Kylie Minogue storm desi theatres -- both alongside Akshay Kumar -- and this will surely kickstart a trend.
So we decided to take a look at the finest, most prominent Western actors taking on India in their films. They aren't necessarily Indian films (most of them are very un-Indian productions, really) but it's amusing to see how the perception of India abroad has changed (or not) over the years.
Here goes, starting with the upcoming two, and moving gloriously backwards:
Kylie Minogue -- Blue (2009)
The petite, perfectly-bottom'd Australian pop icon might only feature in a song sequence in the upcoming 'underwater thriller', but she's definitely slated to be the biggest 'item girl' our cinema has ever seen.
