From Virudhachalam station, Shaktivel and Anjali finally manage to reach Anjali's ancestral home at Theni.
By reaching Theni, 50 per cent of the shooting of Kanden Kathalai is over. It took the director and the duo 27 days to reach Theni from Chennai!
Tamannah who plays Anjali says of the journey so far, "Though the film is a remake, we have added a lot of newness to it during the shoot, and these small changes are going to make a difference to the film. The two songs shot so far have come out better than the original, and I quite enjoyed working in the film so far. Both Bharath and myself brought newer aspects to the film, thanks to director Kannan's inputs and encouragement. I am looking forward to the next schedule."
