Fazil's role as a filmmaker in Malayalam has been nothing short of phenomenal. With films like Manjil Virinja Pookkal, Ente Mamattikutti Ammaykku, Nokketha Doorathu Kannum Nattu, Ennennum Kannettante, Ente Suryaputhrikku, Aniyathipravu and Manichithrathazhu besides many others, he has tasted success big time in the industry.
Right now he is looking forward to emulate that magical touch with his latest release Moz n Cat, which stars Dileep and newcomer Aswathy Ashok.
In an exclusive interview, Fazil talks about his film and more:
What is Moz n Cat all about?
It is mainly about two strange relationships and is essentially an emotional drama. The viewers are still attracted to such themes though it comes very rarely nowadays. Moss D Samuel (Dileep) is a happy-go-lucky orphan. It's just by chance that a young kid Tessy (Baby Nivedita) comes into his life. Though he hates any bindings, Tessy becomes an integral part of his life soon.
The second one is the strong bond of affection between Nandana (Aswathy) and her brother, Sumesh (Rahman). He is a junkie now and Nandana thinks that the memories of their childhood days can bring her brother back to his normal self. She befriends Tessy and Moss with this aim in her mind. But things happen beyond their imagination.
