Indian cinema seems to be in time-travel mode what with Neil Mukesh's camera looking into the future in Aa Dekhen Zara and Akshay Kumar peeking into the past with 8 X 10 Tasveer.
Here then, for the benefit of you guys as well as our DVD-loving screenwriters, are ten movies that toy with time -- and do it with style. Enjoy.
The Time Machine (1960)
George Pal's iconic 1960 film is a spectacular adaptation of HG Wells' famed novel, and one that is appropriately ahead of its time.
Rod Taylor plays Wells, the time traveller and the device used to travel back and forth through time is a masterwork of art-direction, with its intricate knobs and levers. This one's truly and deservedly a classic.
