If you happen to be one of those who watched The X-Files back in the day when it still aired on television, there's an excellent chance you're among the first in line getting a ticket to the movie when it opens in theatres this week.
For those, who haven't a clue about what the series was about, several compelling reasons demand you watch what promises to be a fascinating movie based on a television serial that achieved something akin to cult status.
Slated for release on September 26 in India, it marks 15 years since the show aired for the first time on television. The truth, it would seem, is still out there.
Then again, with its conspiracy theory-meets-federal investigation storylines that explored unusual paranormal happenings, maybe The X-Files were destined for popularity right from the start.
