Great reviews, poor show at the box office
|
| UTV Motion Pictures' A Wednesday has won much acclaim from critics and viewers alike. However, the appreciation has yet to reflect on the box office. As of now, only a few multiplexes have shown steady figures. The other well-reviewed film, Tahaan, also saw a poor run.
The other releases -- Hijack and Jeena To Hai -- did not fare any better too, and saw disasterous collections at the box office.
Trade analyst Vinod Mirani gives the box office verdict.
Note: Films are ranked according to their release dates. The thumbs ups and downs reflect rediff's views.
