Once a Dreamgirl, Always a Dreamgirl
Looking back at her best movies -- evergreen, eminently rewatchable films like Johnny Mera Naam, Seeta Aur Geeta, and above all, Sholay, a film she bestowed with tremendous pluck -- it's easy to fall for Hema Malini.
Attractive, loud, flamboyant and even lacing her flirtations with hints of innocence, Hemaji was just made for the big-screen.
Even that distinctive accent became something beautifully endearing, something familiar we would smile at fondly.
Today, Hema Malini turns 60. And we realise we're still mad about her.
