Himesh started his career on a modest note 10 years ago, as a music director for television serials. The son of noted music director Vipin Reshammiya, Himesh got lucky the day Salman Khan noticed his talent, and gave him a big breaks in films like Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya, Hello Brother and Bandhan. Their biggest hits together were Tere Naam and Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya.
But it was Himesh's music in Aashiq Banaya Aapne that made him a star. His nasal twang the songs Aashiq Banaya Aapne and Aapki Kashish made him an instant hit in 2005.
