The film is produced by director Sekhar Kammula and his brother Chandrasekhar Kammula. Sekhar Kammula's movies' generally stand for good story telling, production values and clean entertainment.

With Avakkai Biryani, Sekhar is donning the hat of a producer for the first time. Anish has been associated with Sekhar for almost a decade and one can surely expect something original, different and eminently watchable from the duo.
