The going has been good for young Varun Sandesh. The actor had a dream debut with the Telugu film, Happy Days directed by Sekhar Kammula last year.
His second film Kotha Bangaru Lokam opposite Shwetha Basu earlier this year is also doing pretty well at the box office.
The teenage flick, which was produced by Dil Raju and directed by debutante Srikkanth Addala, has also garnered critical acclaim.
Now, the actor is all set for his third untitled Telugu film produced by AVM Productions. He tells Radhika Rajamani more about the project in this exclusive interview. Excerpts:
You must be thrilled that your second film Kotha Bangaru Lokam is also a hit. Did you foresee this?
I never thought Kotha Bangaru Lokam would be a hit. I thought it would be a good story. You can't expect the success rate when you sign the film. Like when I signed Happy Days, I knew it was a good story but I never anticipated the success. I am definitely thrilled.
