So how easy it is to get out of the character after the movie is done?
I haven't got into that sort of method acting as such. But what I do is when I am reading the script and I am shooting that film, I am like that character. But as soon as I stop reading the script and stop shooting, I am out of the character and back to myself.
How was the working experience with Onir?
He is a lovely person to work with. He is a very good human being and a great director. Working with him is very easy and comfortable. He lets you be as you are, he listens to you, he is ready to improvise as long it is good for the scene and movie. So it is extremely comfortable working with him. Even though his last two films were serious, this is completely commercial film.
Sanjay Suri is a co-producer of this film and also has been the main role in his two earlier Onir-directed films. Were you apprehensive that you would be sidelined?
Not at all. I was extremely happy that I was working with him, as I had worked with him earlier in my first music video that I did for Gulzarsahab. Plus there were good actors like Shabanaji and Boman in the film. So there was no chance to be hesitant about taking up the role.
