Filmmakers who had abandoned their plans to shoot their films in 90s after violence erupted in valley are embracing the state and have begun shooting their films.

Santosh Sivan shot Dastaan starring Rahul Bose and now Raj Kanwar is shooting Sadiyaan a story of love across Indo-Pak border which will see the debut of Shatrughan Sinha's son Luv.

Kashmir Ki Kali

Shakti Samanta is perhaps one of the first Bollywood directors who introduced Switzerland and tour of Europe before it caught the fancy of Yash Chopra.

He made Kashmir Ki Kali and also introduced Sharmila Tagore to Hindi cinema as she was restricted to Bengali cinema before that.
