He's coming back. Harrison Ford reunites with director Steven Spielberg and writer George Lucas after 19 years to don that famed fedora again and turn into Indiana Jones.
So before we try and figure out just what on earth a Crystal Skull is, here's a brief look at Indy himself, over the years.
Originally titled Indiana Smith, Lucas came up with the basic idea for the character in an attempt to recreate the pulp glory of the serialised film adventures from the 30s and 40s.
Steven, who was in the mood to create a James Bond like hero, didn't like the name Smith. Lucas casually suggested Jones, and the name stuck.
