A young boy becomes a part of Fantasia's story after he discovers he is the only key to its survival. Within Fantasia, he bumps into extraordinary characters like the boy-warrior, Atreyu, his dog-like dragon, Falcor and the Child-like Empress and the never-ending saga endures.

Interestingly, Wolfgang Peterson's imaginatively-told version adapts only half of German author Michael Ende's book.
