On Amitabh Bachchan
I had a lot of fun working with Amitabh. Between shots, we would play cricket. Whenever he saw a bat and ball in my hand, he would say, 'Chalo khelte hain.' I played cricket with everyone on the sets, even the other children on the sets and director Vivek Sharma. That's why I never got bored. Amitabh gave me a lot of love and would see to it that I enjoyed working.
Once when I was acting, and came out of character before the director said 'cut'. Amitabh gave me tips on how I should remain in character until the shot was over.
Juhi Chawla would always inquire about my studies between shots. She would ask me how do I balance acting and studies.
Shah Rukh Khan plays my father in the film but we don't have much screen time together.
On his role
After Vivek Sharma narrated story to me, my father and I thought about it at night. When I listen to a story, I give my views and decisions too. I see whether the story highlights me or not. But my dad knows better. I did not have to give an audition.
When I go for shoots, my dad always accompanies me. He helps me prepare for the role too.
I liked Taare Zameen Par, and Darsheel Safary's work in it. That's why he got so much fame and publicity. If I do that well, I will get recognition too.
