Television is fun. While shows I referred to in a column recently haven't yet found their way to Indian television -- or aren't likely to do so anytime soon, let's be honest -- there's quite a bit of stuff on desi TV that's worth a whirl.
Now, with the latest Lost and Prison Break not showing on our screens, this list is largely sitcom-filled. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Here's our top ten of the best English shows:
10. Last Comic Standing
This Jay Mohr-hosted show wasn't bad last season, but this year's crop of comics are a really wild bunch, from a lovely blonde with shocking language to a gay man who redefines over-the-top. The laughs are quick and authentic, and this is a good, quick fix of hardcore funnies. Good stuff.
