How did you get into Bollywood?
Ramu sir spotted me at the Adlabs office during one of my many auditions. He was impressed with my work. His only reservation was that I was too young. He offered me Contract and I readily agreed. I'm starring opposite Kannada actor, Sudeep.
How did Mumbai Salsa happen?
I auditioned for Mumbai Salsa, and the director, Manoj Tyagi, liked me. It was a youth-oriented film, full of masti. And the film helped me a lot. It changed my personality. I was an introvert earlier but after Mumbai Salsa -- where I played a bold and tomboyish character -- I changed completely.
So how was it working with Ram Gopal Varma?
It was a great experience. He is more of an introvert. He doesn't crack too many jokes but his one-liners are hilarious.
He does not force you to do a scene in a particular way. He lets you emote the way you want. He shoots multiple takes for a scene to see how differently you can do them. Working in two consecutive RGV films is amazing. It is very important for a newcomer to work under big banners.
