After launching Urmila Matondkar, Antara Mali, Nisha Kothari and Jiah Khan, Ram Gopal Varma is all set to introduce yet another heroine, Amruta Khanvilkar.
The 22-year-old Maharashtrian will be seen in RGV's Contract and Phoonk. But these will not be her first brush with the movies. Amruta made her debut in Mumbai Salsa, which sank without a trace.
The actress talks to Nithya Ramani about being Ramu's new launch.
Have you always wanted to become an actress?
Yes. I started off with Zee Cine Stars Ki Khoj. From there, I did a lot of commercials and advertisements for Reliance, ICICI Bank and Hypercity. I also did music videos, anchored a few shows and acted in Marathi films.
My first television serial was Ken Ghosh's Ada on Sahara One.
