Minissha Lamba wants to be more accessible!

Bollywood stars gracing television shows to promote their films are becoming more common nowadays.

The latest to join the bandwagon is Minissha Lamba. And what is special about her 'episodic appearance' in Star One's Chhoona Hai Aasmaan is that her character in the serial is the same one as that of her upcoming film, Shaurya.

The story of the serial has moved from the backdrop of the Air Force to the college campus, where Minissha's character -- a journalist who goes by the name Kavya Shastri -- gets a scoop on an ongoing murder case.

"I play a journalist, Kavya Shastri, the name of my character in my film Shaurya. My dressing style is similar to what I have portrayed in the film too," Minissha says.

"The whole idea of appearing on the show is to become more accessible to the audience," she adds.
