Love Songs just fell into place. But I didn't realise that I would be acting in the film when my father was writing the script.
Love song is the story of three generations. The story revolves around Mridula (played by Jaya Bachchan). I play her daughter, Palaash. She has a son whom Mridula brings up single-handedly.
My character is a singer in a nightclub, very immature and insecure. She is emotionally dependent on her mother for everything.
I remember the time I first met Jayaji on the sets of the film. I really learnt a lot from her. I would just watch and learn.
As for Omkaka, he is our family friend. Actually, we know his wife Nandita Puri. Jayaji and Omkaka acted so well that after watching them, acting came automatically.
