Did you see The Motorcyle Diaries which seems to have inspired the film, especially the road journey part?
No, I did not see it. I will catch it now.
In fact the journey itself is an eye-opener for the character. Has the film been an eye-opener in real life too?
My way of thinking has changed. I now know that no one is bad or perfect. I have started to see people differently.
This is the second time you acted with Kamalinee Mukherjee after Classmates. How was the experience?
We are good friends. She is a fabulous artiste and very professional too. It was fun working with her.
You and Naresh shared a good bonding in the film. Is it because you are friends in real life too? How was the experience of working with him?
Yes, we are friends. There were no ego clashes between us. That's why you see the bonding between the two friends on screen too. Naresh is a fabulous artiste and the backbone of the film.
What do you think is the strongpoint of Gamyam?
A man knowing himself, for that matter any human being. In fact we always think of others -- what they are. Gamyam made me think who we are. This runs like an undercurrent through the movie and it's not in-your-face. Krish sent this message across in a good way.
