Asin became the hottest property in Tamil cinema when she was signed to act opposite Kamal Haasan in Dasavathaaram. She has two avatars against Kamal's 10, a big achievement for the young actress.
After completing the Hindi version of Ghajini opposite Aamir Khan, Asin is fast becoming a sensation in Bollywood too. Her next ventures are with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.
This 22-year old from Kochi talks about the experience of being Kamal's leading lady. Excerpts:
It has been quite some time since you finished shooting for Dasavathaaram. Have you forgotten the film, or do you still cherish those days?
I have not forgotten those days at all. The shooting of Dasavathaaram went on for more than a year. In fact, I started shooting the day Surya and Jyothika got married in September 2006. I attended the wedding at 6 am and then drove down to the outskirts of Chennai for the shoot.
