'I didn't want to do a chocolate-boy kind of role'

How did you find Mumbai?

I felt odd initially but later, I got used to it. I started meeting people until I got Vikram Bhatt's 1920.

Why did you choose Vikram Bhatt's film?

I didn't want to do a chocolate-boy kind of role. I have seen Vikram Bhatt's films. He is a technically sound man. The production house was also important for me.

But Vikram has not given any hits in a while now.

There are ups and downs in everyone's life. What is important for me are the producers, cast and crew.

How was it working with him?

It was a great experience. He is a very good actor himself. He would act out a scene and then tell us how to deliver. We did not have any readings before the scene.
