Raman Thediya Seethai directed by K P Jagannath is the corporate house Moserbaer's first own production in Tamil.
Earlier they had an agreement with Prakash Raj's Duet Films to produce three films. Vellithirai was one followed by Abhiyum Naanum with Trisha.
On the strategy of Moserbaer, Dhanajayan, the Chief Operating Officer, Entertainment Business, Mosebaer said, "Right now, there are six films in Tamil. First up for release is Raman Thediya Seethai, which is not a remake or a copy of any film. The story is very traditional and true to the south. It's clearly a south Indian film."
