'I find no difference making a film in Malayalam or Tamil'

Malayalam film director, Jayaraj, is making his foray into Tamil films with the mainstream film, Sila Nerangalil.

In the past the National award winning director has done both commercial films as well as realistic art films effortlessly.

In this interview to Shobha Warrier, he talks more about his February 29th release. Excerpts:

Why did you decide to direct a Tamil film?

Three software engineers from the US who are friends of Vincent Ashokan (the hero of the film) have written the story. Vincent had acted in my film By the People and so they approached me. And I found the story interesting enough to accept the offer.
