Kasamh Se's popular bahu, Bani's -- Prachi Desai -- move to Bollywood with her first film Rock On, co-starring Farhan Akhtar, is one of the many shifts from television to tinsel town.

Here's a look at the telly stars, who will be seen on the big screen for the first time soon.

Saakshi Tanwar

Saakshi is best known for her role as Parvati in the popular television opera Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii.

The actress has worked in a few other serials including the popular Devi, Dhaamal Express, Virasaat, Jaasi Jaise Kohi Nahin, Kahani Jurm Ki and Dhadkan (a Pakistani serial).

Now Saakshi will be seen in a film called Coffee House, opposite Ashutosh Rana. It will be produced by Maheem Mittal and directed by Gurbir Garewal. She plays the wife of a newspaper publisher, in the film based on slain activist Safdar Hashmi's life.

Saakshi will also do a cameo in Balaji Telefilms' film, Khel Khel Mein, to be directed by Sachin Yardi.
