About Ila: The white clothes that I wore gave a different colour to my role. I have never been seen in that attire. I didn't wear any jewellery either so there was no weight on me. But my role has a lot of weight!

I approached Ashutosh for a role in Jodhaa Akbar. I don't feel shy to admit that. I wanted to work with the man who made Lagaan and Swades. Plus, he was making a film in my hometown, Rajasthan.

If anyone controlled the cast well, it was Ashutosh. He knew how Jodhaa should be, how Akbar should be... He had completely knowledge about everything. He guided us very well.
