The process
It takes about two-three hours to make one model. But the animation takes a lot of time. If you are working for 12 to 14 hours, you will only create only four or five seconds of animation.
We worked for 18 hours a day for Taare Zameen Par because we had an early deadline. We had to do three minutes of animations, in two months.
People in Bollywood don't realise that it is a time consuming job. They think that animation means fixing a camera to one point and moving it and shooting.
