Now nicknamed 'The Tiny Canadian,' Page was born in Nova Scotia on February 21, 1987. Her early efforts included a TV show called Pit Pony, for which she won acclaim -- and several young actor awards.
It is the kind of thing that sets the tone for things to come, Page going on to star in Wiebke von Carolsfeld's Marion Bridge in 2002, a film that made her believe she wanted to pursue a career as an actress.
A breakthrough role came with David Slade's Hard Candy, a film where her character Hailey poses as jailbait for an Internet pervert and unleashes a hidden scheme of elaborate entrapment and revenge. It is a tough role, to say the least, the film focussing only on two characters throughout.
