Forbidden Planet
This wonderful 1956 classic -- the film that gave us the unforgettable Robbie The Robot -- was once supposed to be remade by James Cameron. But now the director's chair apparently remains empty.
The good news?
J Michael Straczynski, writer of The Changeling and (more importantly) some great runs of Spider-Man comics, is doing the script.
