What kind of research did you have to do for this film?
I have studied science, so learning medical terms wasn't difficult. I watched the original south film and observed the actors keenly.
Aamir wanted me to downplay my role, unlike other glamorous actesses. Since the film is a serious thriller, they didn't want the audience's attention to go elsewhere.
The director decided that I should have a deglam look. I remember Aamir saying that even if I was covered from head to toe, my face would look sexy. I don't know if that was a compliment.
