What kind of training did you have to undergo for the action sequences?
Trainers from Hong Kong (one of them has worked in films like Kill Bill and Matrix) trained me for about six months. The training was intense -- eight hours a day. But it was worth it, especially when you are shooting in a place like China. Rohan (Sippy, producer) would come on the sets whenever action sequences were shot to make sure that I was still alive for the next day's shoot (laughs)!
Did you get injured while performing any stunt?
There are risks involved in action sequences. I have never been part of an action film before so I had no clue what was involved. I injured my ankle thrice at the same place. But this is a part of our profession and we must be prepared.
