Kidnap, the story in pictures
Interestingly, Kidnap would be Sanjay Dutt's first release in 2008. In 2007, he delivered two big hits in Dhamaal and Shootout At Lokhandwala.
Kidnap's shooting was shelved as it got stuck due to date problems after Sanjay Dutt was sentenced to jail by a TADA court for possession of illegal weapons.
In Kidnap, he plays the role of a Indian multimillionaire divorcee based in New York. Vidya Malvade plays his estranged wife and Minissha Lamba his daughter who is kidnapped on her 18th birthday.
