Why did you finalise on Priyanka?

Priyanka is a wonderful actress. I liked her right from the time she became Miss World [in 2000]. When I wrote Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, I got an opportunity to know her better. I liked her command over Hindi. It is very important for an actress to have the command over the language in which she is acting. When I was casting for God Tussi Great Ho, she was my first choice.

Priyanka plays a journalist in the film. She comes from an affluent family. Salman, on the hand, is a mediocre man, who hasn't achieved much in life. That's why he hesitates to propose to her. Sohail plays a pivotal role in the film. He loves Priyanka as well, and makes things more difficult for Salman.
