Jayaram is on a comeback trail. His latest Malayalam film Veruthe Oru Bharya, directed by Akku Akbar and scripted by K Gireeshkumar, is expected to get the hero out of the lean phase in his career.
Jayaram, who was quite popular with the family audiences in Malayalam till a few years ago, has been struggling with no hits under his name for some time now. Those involved in Veruthe Oru Bharya believe that things will be different for the hero after the film's release.
With the heroine Gopika deciding to bid adieu to her movie career after her marriage quite recently, the film has generated interest from every quarter.
"It is a story that happens virtually in every household where the husband treats the domestic chores of his wife as trifle. The husband often wonders what she does sitting at home. As she is a housewife, he takes her for granted. Not many husbands acknowledge the efforts put in by his wife for the family. They even fail to acknowledge her as a human being. So, this is one film every family should watch," says Gireeshkumar.
