Ganesh's back with Aramane
This is actor Nagashekhar's directorial debut. Ganesh and Nagashekhar were roommates during their struggling days, often finding it difficult to even manage two square meals a day.
Things changed, at least for Ganesh with the success of Mungaru Male. Nagashekhar continued to struggle. He was showing signs of becoming a popular comedy actor when he chanced upon Preetham Gubbi's story, Aramane.
Impressed with the story, he decided to narrate it to his friend Ganesh, who was equally impressed. The actor then suggested that Nagashekhar direct the film.
