Yaavarum Nalam is a story about the sudden happenings in the life of Manohar (Madhavan) after he and his brother buy a huge flat (13-B). Acting as Madhavan's wife Priya in both the versions is Neetu Chandra. His mother in Tamil is Saranya while Poonam Dhillon does the role in Hindi. Vikram introduces Sanjay as Madhavan's elder brother in both Hindi and Tamil.
