Sholay, darn it. It just doesn't get any bigger than that, and even Sippy's Shaan is considered among the better examples of 1970s kitsch.

Few would, on the other hand, be able to salvage much from Zamaana Deewana, a 1995 turkey starring Shah Rukh Khan and Raveena Tandon. The story? Romeo and Juliet meets the worst of Bollywood cliche, as former friends build gangs and war through the city, while the best plan the cops can come up with is making their badly dressed kids fall in love.

Aargh, the cheese.
