'I am no glamorous prop'

Breaking away from one's onscreen image can be tough as Tanushree Dutta, who earned herself the reputation of a dare-bare actress ever since her debut film Aashiq Banaya Aapne hit the screens, found out.

The film was followed by her sizzling role in Chocolate.

However, Tanushree says that she will not resort to skin show until the script really demands it.

"I am no glamorous prop waiting to be presented as a showpiece in a film. Filmmakers have to look beyond that," she announced.

The actress spoke to Swati R Chaudhary about her next offering Dhol, fashion sense, her Miss India days and more.

Tell us about your latest film, Dhol.

Dhol is an out and out comedy and I am very excited about it. I play a small town girl who is simple at heart. She is wooed by four guys (Tusshar Kapoor, Sharman Joshi, Kunal Khemu and Rajpal Yadav), all desperately wanting to marry her. In the pursuit, a lot transpires leading to a chain of comic events.
